Grace Note farm Inn offers FARMSTAY, a unique opportunity to work and live on an antique farm in the foothills of N.W.Rhode Island that has been a working farm since the 1700's. Located adjacent to the George Washington Management Area, the forest offers over 75 miles of trails, abundant wildlife and quiet surroundings. Participate in the day to day chores of maintaining the farm, caring for horses and other farm animals or simply take in the beautiful vistas, sounds of nature and breath in the fresh air. Open since 2001 for horses and trail riding and known for its fine dining, Grace Note Farm Inn is now open for year around vacation getaways to unwind from fast pace lifestyle of the 21st century
Meals
Help with preparation of recipes from the time of Thomas Jefferson or sit back and enjoy our home cooking served family style in the main dining room or on the sundeck. Pack a picnic lunch. Also available New England lobster/clam bake*
Chores
Optional and for the farmstay experience help mend fences, paint barns, weed gardens, mow fields, clear trails, unload hay and supplies, clean barns & paddocks or split firewood.
Horses
L
earn about, participate in or observe the care of horses. Riding lessons available* or experienced rider can lease on farm horse.
